Little Rock Regional Update

A limited plan has been developed for flooding on interstates and other primary routes in central Arkansas for traffic diversion and message board placement. State DOT has worked with responders on select interstate projects to develop a localized plan for responding to incidents.

The Move Over Law is enforced. State has utilized motorist assistance patrol on some critical interstate construction projects primarily within the work zone and in same limited cases within a specified distance of the work zone depending on traffic queues. Not always in central Arkansas. High-Viz apparel is worn by LEO’s, DOT, fire and towing.
