Arizona Strategic Highway Safety Plan Emphasizes TIM

A Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) is a statewide, coordinated plan that provides a comprehensive framework for reducing fatalities and serious injuries on all public roads. The Arizona SHSP Executive Committee approved the 2014 Arizona SHSP. The current plan has been developed in consultation with a broad array of transportation safety stakeholders through the state representing each of the 4 E's of safety: Engineering, Education, Enforcement and Emergency Medical Services. The plan and its current supporting appendices are available for download. One of the SHSP's emphasis areas is TIM. The TIM section provides an overview of TIM and seven TIM and work zone-related strategies and action steps. The entire SHSP, as well as the TIM section, are attached.
